はじめに
Introduction
オマーンの産業基盤の発展については、「第50章 石油依存からの脱却」の「オマーン構想2040計画」の章で説明されており、この章ではオマーンの工業都市について紹介しています。
The development of Oman’s industrial infrastructure had been described in Section “Vison of Plan Oman 2040” in “Chapter 50 Transition from Oil Dependence”, this chapter introduces Oman’s Industrial Cities.
特別経済特区および自由貿易区総局(الهيئة العامة للمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة والمناطق الحرة)は、オマーンのすべての特別経済特区および自由貿易区を管轄するために、2020 年 8 月に王令第 105/2020 号によって設立されました。
Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (الهيئة العامة للمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة والمناطق الحرة) was established in August 2020 by Royal Decree No 105/2020 to oversee special economic zones or free zones in Oman.
2020 年 8 月に設立されていた経済特区および自由貿易区は、マダイン工業都市公社(المؤسسة العامة للمناطق الصناعية) (Madayn (مدائن))およびその傘下の工業都市を含めて、すべて特別経済特区および自由貿易区は、特別経済特区および自由貿易区総局の管轄下に編入されました。
All special economic zones and free trade zones established prior to August 2020, including Public Establishment for Industrial Estates and its associated industrial cities (المؤسسة العامة للمناطق الصناعية) (Madayn (مدائن)), have been integrated under the jurisdiction of Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones.
特別経済特区および自由貿易区総局が管轄している経済特区および自由貿易区には工業法人が少なからず含まれているので、これらも工業都市として、この章では扱う事としました。
Since the special economic zones and free trade zones under the jurisdiction of Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Trade Zones include a number of industrial corporations, they are also considered industrial cities within the context of this chapter.

OPAZの概要にはドゥクム特別経済区を監督するほか、アル＝マジュ―ナ工業都市、サラーラ自由貿易区、ソハール自由貿易区を管轄すると記述されていますが、実際の内容では、マダイン(مدائن)傘下の工業都市(المناطق الصناعية)およびカザーエン経済都市(مدينة خزائن الاقتصادية)もOPAZの監督下にあるように記述されているので、この章ではそのように解釈しました。
OPAZ’s overview states that in addition to overseeing Duqm Special Economic Zone, it is also responsible for Al Mazunah Industrial City, Salalah Free Zone, and Sohar Free Zone. However, the actual content indicates that the industrial cities (المناطق الصناعية) under Madayn (مدائن) and Khazaen Economic City (مدينة خزائن الاقتصادية) are also under OPAZ’s supervision. Therefore, this chapter interprets it as such.
